King Saud bin Abdulaziz University was found in 2002. It was first known by each college individually. In 2005, all colleges were unified under the name King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences.

KSAU-HS is a fully-accredited, public, health sciences based university.

Undergraduate enrollment is 500 students.

Total number of admitted students for the Fall Semester 2006-2007 was 184.

Total enrollment is 850 students.
