Master’s program in Public Health
The Master’s program in Public Health aims to overcome the severe shortage of qualified capabilities in the field of public health. Graduates of the program shall contribute to the development, and application of the techniques of public health at hospitals and health centers, and in the society, and solve the problems that may impede the application of public health and its utilization.
In the light of the difficulties facing Saudi students interested in obtaining a graduate degree from an overseas university, the College of Public Health and Medical Informatics offers the Master’s degree in public health to the international standards in this specialty with a view to becoming the beacon of progress and advancement in the field of public health in our dear country.
It is worthy of note that the Saudi health sector has witnessed a significant progress in recent decades. Local health services have become of an international standard. However, this positive aspect has not been accompanied by an advancement of health informatics whose applications have become a must for hospitals to achieve certain objectives such as upgrading the quality of healthcare services, time saving, and cost reduction.
